Immediate Opening for Web Delivery QA

The Web Delivery QA position will provide quality assurance expertise as part of an agile Scrum team that researches, evaluates and implements custom software for our customer facing technologies, including web, mobile, and screen-less channels. The Web Delivery team is an exciting, highly motivated team that delivers value to our customer each sprint. We are looking for a high energy individual to help build the network that powers our customer facing solutions.
Essential Functions
  • Support dynamic schedules, multiple environments, test cycles, and deployments
  • Utilize root-cause analysis to effect product or process changes required to increase reliability and dependability through testing and quality assurance best practices
  • Working within the scrum methodology, design, develop, and execute manual and exploratory tests. Lead the test execution for new feature development by participating in requirements and design reviews, understanding and capturing business needs, and incorporating business logic into test strategies and scenarios
  • Support code deployments to all environment utilizing proven Team Foundation Services technology
  • Able to communicate effectively in written and oral manner so that stakeholders have clear understanding of issues
  • Able to maintain a broad perspective, and identify and evaluate opportunities to enhance the customer experience through cross-group collaboration
  • Can identify and apply successful strategies and drive implementation improvements to engineering methods and quality practices
  • Work to continually improve our test automation strategy and coordinate with other Scrum teams and DevOps groups to implement and incorporate automated tests into our continuous delivery pipeline
Education and Experience Required
  • BS in Computer Science or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum 3 years software testing, quality assurance, installing, maintaining and troubleshooting software in a business environment
  • Excellent analytical, technical aptitude and problem solving skills
  • Must be organized and detail-oriented
  • Able to handle multiple concurrent projects with overlapping deadlines
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Extensive troubleshooting experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience testing applications that integrate with other systems through RESTful API’s
  • Experience with C# and JavaScript (optional)
  • Exposure to Agile Scrum methodology (optional)
  • Experience with Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS) (optional)
