INSTALL FOR MICROSOFT TEAMS
You can install IntelliWiki from the Microsoft Teams app store.
CREATE A WIKI
Navigate to a channel within Teams and add the app as a new tab. Users can also install a personal version of the app from the Apps page for central access to some features, such as search.
OPTIONAL: GRANT ADMIN PERMISSIONS
If an admin grants permissions for your entire tenant, additional functionality is unlocked (e.g. @Mention for files), and individual users no longer need to consent.
Within a wiki tab, an admin can navigate to Settings > Grant admin consent and click the button to open a consent prompt.
Licenses for IntelliWiki Enterprise are available through Microsoft AppSource.
Microsoft AppSource can be difficult to navigate, see our step-by-step Purchase Guide for help.
To cancel your IntelliWiki subscription, follow these steps:
1. Go to https://admin.microsoft.com/
2. Click on ‘Billing’ and then ‘Your Products’ on the left menu
3. In the ‘Apps’ section (below Microsoft Products), find the IntelliWiki subscription you would like to cancel and click on it.
4. In the ‘Billing Settings’ area under ‘Subscription Status’, click ‘Cancel Subscription’
5. This will pop up a window on the right. Click the ‘Cancel Subscription’ button at the bottom.
Unfortunately, because the subscription and billing are managed through Microsoft, we can’t cancel it for you.
If you no longer have access to your Microsoft admin center, you may need to contact Microsoft in order to cancel the subscription. Microsoft handles all of our subscription payments as the application is purchased through their MS teams app store.
Licenses for IntelliWiki Enterprise are managed through https://intelliwiki.com/license. We recommend bookmarking this site so that it is easy to find in the future.
You can manage your licenses by clicking on specific licenses or auto-assigning all available licenses. For more help with managing licenses see the Managing Licenses section of our Purchase Guide.
Any team member where the wiki was initially created can access the wiki. The access level for team members can be restricted (e.g. read-only) by owners of the team or the original creator of the wiki.
For every IntelliWiki Enterprise seat purchased, the team can have five additional users as read-only. This means that if you purchased 10 Enterprise seats, you would have read-only access for 50 users and 60 people who have access to IntelliWiki. These read-only users cannot utilize the comment features.

No, archiving wikis through IntelliWiki must be done with IntelliWiki.
No, you have to be a member of the team and have access to the wiki.
Unfortunately, licenses purchased under one Microsoft tenant (e.g., user@company1.onmicrosoft.com
) cannot be directly allocated to a different tenant (e.g., user@company2.com
). Each license is tied to the specific tenant under which it was purchased.
Here’s how you can resolve this situation:
LOG IN TO MICROSOFT TEAMS WITH CORRECT ACCOUNT:
Ensure you are logged in with the correct tenant account (e.g., user@company2.com
).
REPURCHASE LICENSES:
Navigate to the Microsoft AppSource and purchase the IntelliWiki licenses using the company2.com
account credentials. This ensures that the licenses are correctly associated with the Microsoft Teams account you use.
REQUEST A REFUND OR TRANSFER:
Contact Microsoft to request a refund for the licenses purchased under the company1.onmicrosoft.com
tenant. Explain the situation and see if they can assist in transferring the licenses or issuing a refund so you can purchase them under the correct tenant.
Data is stored in Azure SQL and is encrypted in transit and at rest. It it currently hosted in the US. See IntelliWiki Security.
AN EMPTY PAGE APPEARS WHEN YOU OPEN YOUR WIKI TAB
If you are presented with a blank page when you open an IntelliWiki tab, your network may be blocking IntelliWiki.com. To check if this is the case, navigate to IntelliWiki.com/health.
RESTORE A DELETED WIKI
If you accidentally delete a wiki, navigate to the ‘all wikis’ page. You can either get there via the Teams app bar or via any existing wiki’s page sidebar dropdown menu. From there, you can see your deleted wikis from the recycle bin and can choose to restore them.
